Alexandria City Park, located in the heart of Alexandria, is a multi-facility park that provides residents with an outdoor space for a variety of activities year-round. The park’s amenities include paved jogging trails, a pavilion and several playground structures, which occupy a large, grassy area.

The park’s central location allows for convenient access to numerous nearby facilities like Bringhurst Golf Course, the Alexandria Zoo, Bringhurst Field and the Youth Baseball Complex. Bringhurst Golf Course, a nine-hole course surrounded by magnificent oak trees, is the oldest par-three course in the nation. The Alexandria Zoo, which regularly hosts events for all ages, boasts various educational tours and is involved in both national and global conservation efforts. The Bringhurst Field baseball stadium is home to the city’s independent team, the Alexandria Aces, and seats up to 3,500 people. For the recreational player, the Youth Baseball Complex supplies six well-lit baseball fields along with four batting cages and a small playground.

Additionally, the park features an eight-court, lit tennis complex and the Alexandria City Water Park, with both fountains and a playground area for children.
