BACK TO Private Schools

St. Frances Cabrini School in Alexandria is a pre-kindergarten-through-6th-grade parochial campus blending rigorous academics with the teaching of the Roman Catholic faith. Working to prepare even the youngest students for a workforce relying on increasingly complex technology is an important focus at St. Frances Cabrini.

Technology infuses classroom instruction across grade levels and subject matter. All students have access to iPads, iPod Touches, NEO 2s, SMART Boards and Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Math software. Art, music and physical education are also important components of a curriculum that stresses fundamental subjects such as reading, spelling, math, science, social studies, handwriting and religious instruction.

Clubs and sports at St. Frances Cabrini include basketball, baseball, softball, cheerleading and student council for 4th through 6th graders. Children in 3rd through 6th grade can participate as altar servers during Mass. Yearly school events include a fall Cajun Fest, Mardi Gras parade, talent show, faculty-versus-student volleyball game and 5th grade passion play. St. Frances Cabrini encourages its students to celebrate their achievements during its campus science fair, by entering local and national art and essay contests and by participating in spelling and geography bees.
